The account and the payment live in the same backend.
The project
Northline is a membership product for a small collective. Members join on the web, pay, and get into the work. We built the web app and host it.
The application talks to a backend for the account, the subscription, and the occasional one-time charge. When a payment clears, access changes. When it fails, the screen says what to do next. The collective has an admin for members, plans, and the odd exception.
